Abbey Farm is a substantial Victorian red brick farmyard which was recently vacated by a prominent Simmental cattle-breeding operation. It comprises a number of older red-brick buildings (c. 100 m2) suitable for general use, and four new steel-framed / concrete-sided buildings (c. 200 m2) with roller shutter doors.

The wider farmyard has a substantial silage clamp and variety of open-sided barns, together with a large cattle shed (c. 1000 m2).
