Wroxall estate entered a 10 Year Woodland Management Scheme (WMP) in 2022 and started work on a number of small parcels of woodland in early 2023 to undertake thinning, clearance and coppicing work to allow more sunlight into existing native woods and encourage re-growth in the under-storey.
A programme of selective replanting will follow in due course.

Hardwood stems from the WMP are typically sold roadside to log processors but other softwood stems may be chipped. Larger oak stems are sent to be sawn for boards/posts.
